In the event of a material error in pricing or availability, we reserve the right to correct the error and, where necessary, offer you the option to cancel your booking without penalty.

5. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice until a reservation is confirmed.

Vos Collection is not responsible for currency fluctuations or any fees charged by your bank or payment provider in connection with your transaction.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vos Collection shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our accommodation or website.
  • Loss of or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
  • Injury, illness or death arising from activities undertaken during your stay, except where caused by our gross negligence.
  • Disruptions to your stay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to load shedding, severe weather, natural disasters, civil unrest or utility failures.
  • Any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with our Guest Policy or house rules.

Our total liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant booking.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

7. Guest Conduct and Damage

Guests are expected to treat our properties and their contents with care and respect. You will be held responsible for any damage, loss or excessive cleaning costs caused during your stay.

We reserve the right to charge the card or payment method used for your booking for any such costs, and to pursue recovery through legal means where necessary.

We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund in the event of serious or repeated breach of our house rules or these Terms and Conditions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and design, is the property of Vos Collection or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish or otherwise use any content from this website without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference purposes.

Where a reservation is made through a third-party booking platform such as Airbnb, the terms and conditions of that platform also apply alongside our own Guest Policy.

11. Force Majeure

Vos Collection shall not be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, nor liable for any failure or delay in performance, where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, natural disasters, civil unrest or power outages.

In such circumstances, we will endeavour to offer alternative arrangements or a credit where possible, at our discretion.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or your use of our website or accommodation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

International guests accept that South African law governs their reservation and any disputes arising from it, regardless of their country of residence.
